                               RESOLUTION NO. 19489
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF SOUTH CREST ROAD, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY,
                   AUGUST 22, 1992, FROM 7:30 A.M. UNTIL 9:30
                   A.M. FOR THE MISSIONARY RIDGE ROAD RACE
                   SPONSORED BY CHATTANOOGA TRACK CLUB AND THE
                   TENNESSEE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is authorized the
       temporary closing of South Crest Road from Firehall No. 11 to 
East
       Crest Road (south leg) on Saturday, August 22, 1992 from 7:30 
a.m.
       until 9:30 a.m. for the presentation of the Missionary Ridge Road 

       Race under the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Track Club and the
       Tennessee Army National Guard provided that the sponsor shall
       install and remove barricades, road closed and detour signs in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and
       provide at all times an access lane for emergency and residential 

       vehicles.
